Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are employed in numerous applications, including optics, biosensing, and catalysis. In their Communication (e202212459), Petra S. Dittrich et al. demonstrate the stabilizer-free electrochemical synthesis of AuNPs inside nanoliter-sized reactors. with sizes range 30 to 100 nm were produced without need for additional capping agents.
